By accessing and using UnitKick (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use the Service.

Description of Service

UnitKick provides free online unit conversion tools for cooking, length, weight, temperature, volume, area, data storage, speed, and other categories. All conversions are performed in your browser using JavaScript.

Accuracy Disclaimer

While we strive for accuracy in all our conversion factors and calculations, UnitKick is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We use internationally recognized standards (SI units, NIST) for conversion factors, but:

  • Results may contain rounding errors
  • We are not liable for any errors in conversion results
  • The Service should not be used as the sole source for critical calculations (medical, engineering, legal, etc.)
  • Users should verify important conversions independently

Use of the Service

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

  • Use the Service in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations
  • Attempt to interfere with or disrupt the Service
  • Use automated tools to scrape or access the Service excessively
  • Reproduce, duplicate, or copy any part of the Service without permission

Intellectual Property

The content, design, and code of UnitKick are owned by UnitKick and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Conversion formulas and factors are based on publicly available standards and are not proprietary.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, UnitKick shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of the Service, including but not limited to errors in conversion results.

Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
